プロフィール

 1974年生まれ、愛知県立時習館高等学校卒業後、東京大学に入学。理科二類を経て農学部獣医学科に進学し、農学生命科学研究科・細胞生化学研究室(塩田邦郎教授)の下で博士(獣医学、学位論文「胎盤と栄養膜幹細胞のエピジェネティック分子機構」、2003年3月)を取得。

 東京大学農学部研究員在職中に日本学術振興会特別研究員(PD, 2004年度〜、研究課題名「雑種強勢のエピジェネティック分子機構」)に任命され、任期中より渡米。米国NY州 Albert Einstein College of Medicine においてResearch Associateとして大量DNAメチル化解析法の開発、さらにそれをもちいたヒトエピゲノム研究を行った。
 2008年4月に帰国、慶應義塾大学医学部・循環器内科/総合医科学研究センター・特任助教として、心筋細胞のエピゲノム研究を行った。2012年7月より慶應義塾大学・坂口光洋記念講座テニュアトラック・プロジェクト助教に任命された。

現在、株式会社 Rhelixa(https://www.rhelixa.com)にてエピゲノム解析を担当し、企業・アカデミアとの多数共同研究を行っている。慶應義塾大学医学部・特任講師兼任。
